WATERBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Plans are in the works to keep Waterbury above water.
Vermont Dam Safety Program announced its plan for the Waterbury dam spillway project.
The collaboration with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers aims to make existing floodgates more operable and repair damaged concrete.
When fixed — the dam should have full flood protection abilities. In full the proposed project would cost more than 80 million dollars.
