BARTLETT, N.H. (WCAX) – A New Hampshire mountain has one less lift line after a chair falls off with someone on board.
Tramway inspectors determined a chair on the Flying Bear quad dislodged from the cable and fell 20 feet.
Early investigation points to mechanical failure. Witnesses say the man on the chair was up and walking after the fall.
All other passengers were normally unloaded at the top of the lift.
The Flying Bear lift will remain closed during the investigation.
