BERKSHIRE, Vt. (WCAX) – Winter weather proves itself dangerous once again – this time for the morning trip to school.
A school bus is back on its route today after sliding off the road with students on board.
It happened at around 2:45 Tuesday afternoon on Watertown Road in Berkshire.
The bus was transporting kids from Berkshire Elementary when icy conditions caused the bus to slide off the road.
First responders cleared all the students and they were taken from the scene. None of them were hurt.
The bus was pulled back onto the road and driven from the scene with minor damage.
