ASHLAND, N.H. (WCAX) – A New Hampshire woman was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle pileup on I-93 Thursday morning.
It happened around 11 a.m. on I-93 northbound in the town of Ashland. New Hampshire State Police say Elizabeth Bourbeau, 40, of Laconia, lost control of her SUV and struck a guardrail. It was then struck by a tractor-trailer hauling woodchips, which plowed into a pickup truck.
Police say Bourbeau was airlifted to Concord Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The other two drivers were uninjured.
The cause of the pileup remains under investigation.
