THETFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State and Thetford police are investigating a gunfire incident that happened earlier Wednesday afternoon.
Officers say they got a call reporting gunshots at the intersection of US Route 5 and VT Route 113 in Thetford. When police got there, the vehicles involved were gone.
Police are now asking anyone who was there or lives near the area for any information pictures or video. They want you to contact them if you saw or captured a full-sized truck between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. within two miles of the intersection.
Police say they believe this was an isolated incident and not an ongoing threat.
