BRANDON, Vt. (WCAX) – No one was injured when an SUV burst into flames at a gas station in Brandon on Monday evening.
It happened at the Citgo on the corner of Route 7 and McConnell Road.
The police chief says one of his officers ran into the store to get employees to shut the pumps off while two others blocked people from pulling into the gas station.
The fire department arrived to put out the flames and the gas station fire suppression system kicked on, too.
No one was inside the vehicle, so no one was injured.
There’s no word yet on what sparked that blaze.
