WATERBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Sunday is a big night for some Vermont stars. Vermonter, and singer songwriter, Noah Kahn is nominated for best new artist. Senator Sanders is nominated for best spoken word album.
We asked Sanders this week about his nomination…
”Well, I’m gonna sing you the song” he said, “Nah, I’m only kidding. I wrote a book. It turned out to be a bestseller book, and in terms of the audio edition: I read it. So Apparently, now I’m competing against Michelle Obama, Meryl Streep– between you and me, I think I’m not going to win. But it’s very nice to be nominated.”
This is Sanders’ second Grammy nomination.
