BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – City Market in Burlington plans to start cracking down to make sure only customers park in the lot at the downtown location.
The co-op says it has gotten an influx of complaints from shoppers about there being no parking. So the co-op partnered with Premium Parking to monitor and charge people who aren’t shopping and use the lot.
If a nonshopper gets up to three invoices, they will be towed at the owner’s expense.
They’ll start handing out warnings on Friday. After April 1, they will start charging people.
Starting March 1, warnings will be handed out and after April 1st they will start charging.
