MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Montpelier voters on Tuesday reelected Jack McCullough as their mayor.

McCullough won the three-way contest, picking up 1,441 votes to runner-up Dan Jones’ 994. Carlton Anderson received 182 votes.

McCullough was elected last year to finish out the term of Anne Watson, who now serves in the state Senate. Flood recovery and prevention top McCullough’s agenda, including working with state officials to rethink floodplains and water management. Housing is another priority, including seeing the Country Club Road development completed.
