CHAMPLAIN, N.Y. (WCAX) – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials in New York say they seized a shipment of drugs Tuesday labeled as “whey protein supplement.”
Officials say that officers working at the Champlain cargo facility used an X-ray of the shipment that revealed anomalies in the container.
After a closer examination, they discovered three vacuum-sealed packages that tested positive for cocaine, ketamine, and ecstasy and were valued at over $15,000.
There were no immediate details on any pending charges in the case.
