BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Get your clocks ready! It’s almost time to spring forward into daylight saving.
At 2 am Sunday, you’ll lose an hour of sleep to daylight saving time.
The old practice is known for throwing your circadian rhythm out of whack.
There’s not much you can do to avoid the shift, but experts say there are ways to make it easier on your body.
“Get outside as much as we possibly can. Exposure to natural daylight is a perfect way to kind of reset our circadian rhythm.” sleep doctor Tom Ryan said.
Ryan says drinking lots of water, eating healthy food and taking naps can also help.
Other experts recommend changing your clock before bed to avoid any morning mishaps.
