BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – People gathered inside City Hall to celebrate Burlington Irish Heritage Festival.
For 29 years, St. Patrick’s Day lovers have been celebrating Irish culture. At the festival, there were Irish step dancers, local musicians, and baked goods.
“The Festival Ceili, of course, it’s when it all comes together, and all happens and you see people having a good time and dancing and just celebrating you know what’s good about being Irish,” planning committee member Elizabeth O’Dowd said.
Board members who plan this festival say they cannot wait to celebrate their 30th anniversary next year.
