Protecting your dog from Lyme disease

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – With the warming weather, many pet owners will once again be pulling ticks off their dogs and themselves.

April is Lyme Disease Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about the disease, how it spreads, and how to prevent it.

Ike Bendavid spoke with Erin Forbes, a veterinarian in Essex Junction, about steps to take now to protect your pets.
