DUXBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermonters find ways to save money while going green at the state’s largest energy fair.

The annual LEAP Energy Fair took place in Duxbury Saturday. Hundreds of visitors, including Senator Peter Welch, browsed booths offering everything from electric vehicles to pellet stoves. Organizers say the fair is an opportunity to see what’s on the market, ask questions and choose what’s right for you.

“We got a hybrid water heater a few years ago and connected with some people here to get that put in,” Carmel Kelley of Duxbury reflected. “It’s been terrific.”

The fair also featured guest speakers breaking down financing and subsidies for energy efficient upgrades.
