MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas says she is running for reelection.
The Democrat says she wants to focus on civics education, investing in new IT systems, and expanding access to voting.
“Civics is understanding how you as a citizen in a democracy to fix a problem that’s too big for you to fix on your own,” she said.
Perennial candidate H. Brooke Paige is running for secretary of state on the Republican ticket.
