BERLIN, Vt. (WCAX) – You could be paying double-digit increases for your health insurance next year. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont says that’s because of hospital costs, drug prices and state health care policy choices.

The insurer says it could require rate increases of more than 16% for individual health plans and more than 19% for small group plans to help pay for the cost of care for those covered by Vermont Health Connect.
