
BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – We’ve heard stories of people losing their sense of taste and smell from COVID-19.
What if instead that sense of smell and taste wasn’t lost but distorted to the point where the taste of most foods was repulsive and smelled like moldy garbage or the bottom of a compost bucket? That’s what happened to Ashley Van Zandt of Lyndonville, a mother of two who works at Catamount Arts in St. Johnsbury.
