COLCHESTER, Vt. (WCAX) – Colchester Police are investigating a shooting in the area of Sharrow Circle.
Police say they responded to the area around 4p.m. Sunday.
When they arrived on scene they found a 31-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Crews transported the man to UVMMC where they say he is in stable condition.
Police say they have not yet identified any suspects, but that there is no threat to the general public.
This is the second shooting instance in the area in the last month.
