BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – As Vermont and the region continue to struggle with a housing crisis, the market for existing homes remains tighter than ever.
The median sales price of primary homes sold in Vermont last year reached $325,000, increasing by 5% over 2022, according to the Vermont Housing Finance Agency. That comes as the number of annual sales continues to decrease.
Kiana Burks spoke with Maura Collins with the Vermont Housing Finance Agency about what the data says about the current state of the housing market.
