BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Biking enthusiasts around the region are inviting folks to Pride rides.
Pride Rides is a cycling club for members and allies of the LGBTQ community. They offer monthly group rides ranging from mountain biking to gravel riding to casual bike-packing. The goal is to create a welcoming space for anyone interested in cycling, even beginners.
“So, safety and community is a big piece, and often affinity spaces provide more resources and opportunity for groups of people who are traditionally excluded or have higher barriers to entry,” said Kristopher Hunt, an organizer of the rides.
