CLAREMONT, N.H. (WCAX) – A Newport, New Hampshire, man faces charges connected to a shooting in Claremont Tuesday night.
It happened just before 7 p.m. Claremont Police say they found shell casings on Twistback Road after reports of shots fired. They say officers on Sullivan Street later spotted a red Subaru Forester that was reported by witnesses. After a brief chase, police say the driver crashed on Sugar River Drive.
Police took two people into custody, including Kaleb Potter, 20, of Newport, New Hampshire, who was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
