BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The general election is less than 5 months away and a Vermont Senator is making sure your signed and sealed ballot will get delivered.
Senator Peter Welch was joined by other senators in sending a letter to the Postmaster General.
Welch requested to know how the postal service plans to ensure mail-in ballots will be delivered in a timely fashion come this election season.
This comes in light of the proposed USPS facility consolidation, including facilities in Vermont.
That plan has since been paused.
