FAIRFAX, Vt. (WCAX) – Bellows Free Academy Fairfax is getting a facelift, with crews breaking ground this week.
The $36 million project was approved by voters two years ago. DEW Construction will conduct the renovation, which includes five new classrooms in the elementary wing and four new classrooms for middle and high schoolers. Other upgrades include a new fire safety sprinkler system.
The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of next year and the school will remain open throughout the renovations.
