Cabot parade carries on

CABOT, Vt. (WCAX) – Hundreds of folks lined the streets of Cabot Thursday for the town’s Independence Day parade.

The procession kicked off at 11 a.m. and featured floats from Bread and Puppet, Cabot Creamery, and other local businesses and farms. Onlookers who grew up in town said though the village was hit hard a year ago, events like this are what makes the community special.

The fun continued on the village green through the afternoon with games, local artists, and food vendors.
