WASHINGTON, D.C. (WWNY) – North country Congresswoman Elise Stefanik will be a featured speaker at next week’s Republican National Convention, according to the New York Post.
It reported that Stefanik, who’s chair of the House Republican Conference and an ally of former President Donald Trump, will speak sometime between July 15 and 17.
Stefanik told The Post that she’s honored to be speaking at the convention.
“This November is the most important election in our lifetime and Americans across the country are united behind President Donald J. Trump’s America First agenda which created the greatest economy in generations, the most secure border in modern history, the lowest gas prices in years, and peace through strength,” she said in a statement to the newspaper.
