BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Three beaches in our region are currently closed due to E. coli contamination.
In Burlington, Leddy Beach and Blanchard Beach were both closed on Friday.
They will be retested on Saturday.
Swimming at the Plattsburgh City Beach is prohibited until further notice.
Flooding can lead to E. coli contamination in lakes and waterways.
