Elusive fugitive captured in Burlington

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A fugitive who police called “extremely dangerous” after he eluded them several times has been caught.

U.S. marshals say they captured Andrew Brace in Burlington on Monday.

The St. Albans man had been on the run since the end of June when police say first he dragged a Colchester cop with a stolen car, then hit a car and fled in Central Vermont a few days later, and then led police on a multi-county chase in a stolen truck.

He faces a slew of charges.
