Rep. Elise Stefanik speaks at Republican National Convention

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WCAX) – Representative Elise Stefanik spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Stefanik spoke in support of former President Donald Trump and was highly critical of President Joe Biden and the impact of his administration on the American people.

She touched on Joe Biden’s policies and also criticized the former presidents of Ivy League universities who testified in a congressional hearing on antisemitism, saying they refused to denounce the use of anti-Semitic speech on their campuses.

Throughout her speech, Stefanik highly touted Trump as a candidate to quote, ‘save America.’

“President Trump will bring back moral leadership to the White House, condemning antisemitism and standing strong with Israel and the Jewish people. President Trump will once again deliver the most secure border in our nation’s history and unleash the American economy, and he will bring peace through strength as Commander in Chief, standing with our allies and causing our enemies to fear us,” said Stefanik.

Before he selected J.D. Vance, Elise Stefanik was speculated as a possible pick to be Trump’s running mate.
