NH Gov. Sununu requests federal disaster declaration for early July storm

CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu has asked the president for a federal disaster declaration for damage caused by severe weather last month.

It stems from a round of severe storms and flooding July 10-13 that caused major damage to Grafton and Coos counties.

Tuesday, Sununu asked President Joe Biden to issue a major disaster declaration and provide federal emergency assistance.
