‘Busiest year yet’ despite rain at 2024 Art Hop

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Not even a rainy weekend could keep people from visiting Burlington’s South End Art Hop. The Art Hop is on its thirty-second year as art studios open their doors to the public to show on-lookers their work.

The event had over 50 art studios for people to choose from, ranging from painting, wood work, and even wine shops.

Studios like AO glass saw thousands of people walk through their doors over the past three days.

Glass blowers say this was the event’s busiest year yet.

“This year it has been bigger than ever. We have never had this many people come in at once. They have been saying they have never seen an art hop that has been this community focused. Just because it’s grown over the last couple years.” said Hanna Holm of AO Glass

Organizers say they hope to add more studios to the list next year
