N.H. voters hit the polls for the state’s primary election

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – On Tuesday, granite staters are heading to the polls to cast their vote for local and statewide office.

One of the races to watch this Tuesday is each party’s candidate for governor.

For the Democrats, the contest is focused between Executive Councilwoman Cinde Warmington and Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig.

On the Republican side, the race has also centered around two candidates: Kelly Ayotte and Chuck Morse.

Ayotte is a well-known former United States senator.

Morse is a longtime lawmaker at the state level – both state representative and state senator.

Most polls open at 7 a.m., but voters should check with their local polling place.
