PAWLET, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police are investigating suspicious deaths in the town of Pawlet.
Police say they received a call early Sunday morning reporting a suspicious person. They say that a subsequent investigation led police to a residence on Vt. Route 133, where troopers located the deceased victims.
The victim’s bodies will be brought to Burlington’s chief medical examiner’s office for autopsies in order to determine the manner and cause of death.
Vermont State Police have not released the identities of the victims.
Police say this was an isolated event and there is no threat to the community. The investigation into these deaths is ongoing.
