Vt. delegation wants to expand Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park

WOODSTOCK, Vt. (WCAX) – A historical park in Woodstock could grow thanks to Vermont’s congressional delegation.

Sens. Bernie Sanders and Peter Welch and Rep. Becca Balint recently introduced legislation to extend the boundary of the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.

The extension would include land on the neighboring King Farm which is currently owned by the Vermont Land Trust.

Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller is one of three sites in Vermont managed by the National Park Service.
