ST. ALBANS TOWN, Vt. (WCAX) – Authorities say an unhoused St. Albans person has been charged with breaking into a local restaurant.
St. Albans Police say officers responded to the Maple City Diner in St. Albans Town early Wednesday morning for a commercial burglary alarm activation. Police say they arrested Kristen Yerry, 26, who was in the process of removing items from the Swanton Road business.
Yerry faces Burglary charges and is being held for lack of bail.
Police say Yerry has seven previous instances of failing to appear for court hearings.
