BARRE, Vt. (WCAX) – The Vermont History Center in Barre next month is poised to open its new Research and Exhibition Gallery.
Since relocating its headquarters from Montpelier to Barre in the early ‘90s, The Vermont History Center has sought to open its 30,000-item collections to researchers and the public in a more accessible manner. Thanks to federal funding last year, the center has been able to house many of these items in a new Research and Exhibition Gallery that opens next month.
Katherine Huntley spoke with VHS officials about what the changes mean.
