BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermonters looking for a clean slate can get the chance in Johnson.

Vermont Attorney General Charity Clark is hosting a free expungement clinic with appointments starting at 10 on Thursday morning.

Expungement wipes specific convictions and dismisses charges from your record after a certain time has passed.

All dismissed charges, many misdemeanors, and 14 felony charges can be expunged or sealed.

The Attorney General will offer help with the petition process today.
