BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – One organization is making sure Vermont kids have happy childhoods – and they’re celebrating a big milestone this weekend.
Prevent Child Abuse Vermont is hosting its signature event, its annual Walk for Safe and Happy Childhoods.
This is the 25th year they will hold the walk, which raises money and supports child abuse prevention.
This year, the walk will be on the statehouse lawn.
Registration is free and it begins at 8 on Saturday morning with the walk starting at 10.
Their fundraising goal this year is $80,000.
