FERRISBURGH, Vt. (WCAX) – A preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board provides new details about a deadly plane crash in Ferrisburgh.
Four people were killed in the crash in early September.
The small plane took off from the Basin Harbor Airport and crashed not long after take off, killing all four people on board. They were all from Connecticut.
The report says a 15-year-old who was learning to fly was in the pilot’s seat.
Investigators say weather conditions weren’t out of the ordinary and they did not yet reveal how or why the plane went down. The crash remains under investigation.
