NEW HAVEN, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say a crash in New Haven Friday afternoon left one woman seriously injured and closed Route 7 for hours.
It happened just after 2 p.m. on River Road.
Vermont State Police say a car turning left from a parking lot onto Route 7 failed to yield and was hit by a car headed north.
One driver, a woman from Middlebury, was taken to the UVM Medical Center with serious injuries. Her passenger had minor injuries. The other driver and his passenger were not injured.
The crash closed that area of Route 7 for about two hours.
