More Amtrak delays on the way to Adirondack Line

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – The Empire State Passenger Association says further service reductions are coming to multiple upstate trains, including the Adirondack line as of November 11th.

Trains between New York City and Montreal have been on the rocks for several years with needed maintenance throwing off regular service.

And now new York assemblyman Billy Jones is telling Amtrak to stop playing games, saying in a statement,“This new delay due to construction in New York City is a disservice to the North Country that must be addressed by both Amtrak and the New York State Department of Transportation.”
