MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Cash is coming to Vermont following a settlement with Amazon over illegal vape sales.
The Attorney General’s Office says Amazon will pay $400,000 after an investigation found Amazon sold vape products directly to Vermont consumers, violating the state’s delivery sales ban.
As a part of the settlement, Amazon agreed to enhance its efforts at preventing illegal tobacco sales.
