BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont woman accused in the 2019 murder of her husband is back in court Tuesday.
Angela Auclair is accused of murdering her husband, David Auclair, with the help of her son Kory Lee George in July 2019. He was found shot to death at a Hinesburg trailhead in July 2019.
George pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and will remain behind bars for at least 13 more years after being sentenced in April. As part of the deal, he stated that it was actually Auclair who pulled the trigger.
The status of Auclair’s case is unclear after she took a plea earlier this year but then requested a new lawyer, claiming inadequate representation.
