RICHMOND, Vt. (WCAX) – The Cochran Ski and Ride sale has returned for its 50th year.
About 5,000 people show up during the two day sale to buy everything winter wear, used and new.
This year the goal is to raise $57,000 for the Cochran Ski Club.
Parents say, this event is one of the best ways to winter shop with the kids.
“Buying consignment is pretty much 100% of the time, 99% of the time of how I buy gear for them these days. I also think it is just a great option for the environment to buy used,” Linda Wise of Hinesburg said.
The sales continue on Sunday, with 20% off.
