DIXVILLE NOTCH, N.H. (WCAX) – The first results from the 2024 election are in – and so far, it’s a tie.
All 6 residents of Dixville Notch in Coos County, New Hampshire cast their votes at midnight.
“A small town up in the mountains can get everybody out, 100% of their registered voters out to vote on at midnight,” said Election Moderator Tom Tillotson. “If the person you really don’t want to win wins and you don’t vote, how are you gonna feel the next four years?”
In the race for Governor, Democrat Joyce Craig got 1 vote to Republican Kelly Ayotte’s 5.
In the race for House, Democrat Maggie Goodlander received 4 votes, beating her opponent Lily Tang Williams.
