ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – St. Albans voters on Tuesday approved two articles including a stormwater project and vacuum truck.
The city would spend $500,000 to build a gravel wetland off Lemnah Drive. The project would reduce storm flows and phosphorus from the stormwater system. And they say the truck is needed to help with the repairs. Both together will cost $1.25 million.
The anticipated debt from this bond item is already included in current stormwater utility fees.
The stormwater results were 2080 to 752. The truck results were 1562 to 1239.
