BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Big news for the region’s ski industry. The former big Tupper Ski Area has been sold.
The Franklin County Treasurer’s Office says the area was sold last Tuesday for $650,000 dollars to Emerge Investment Management LLC.
The Big Tupper Ski Area opened in the 1960s. It closed down in 1998 as a commercial resort and it’s changed owners a number of times until it was foreclosed on in 2013 and it has sat vacant since.
