BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A warning for people across Vermont as drought conditions worsen. The entire state except for the Champlain Valley is now in a drought. And parts of southern Vermont are now in a severe drought.
The fire risk is even higher for Friday with the air getting drier and winds ramping up. That’s prompted a red flag fire warning from the National Weather Service for Central Vermont and Windsor County.
