Montpelier asking city residents for input on budget

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Montpelier is asking residents for help developing the city’s budget.

City officials say they’re facing steep financial costs due to inflation, flooding, the aftermath of the pandemic and rising health care costs.

They’re asking Montpelier residents to share their thoughts on priorities for the upcoming year in a budget survey that is available online.

Residents have until Dec. 10 to complete the survey.
