Stabbing suspect turns himself in, police say

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say the suspect in a stabbing incident in South Burlington has turned himself in.

Last week, police said they were looking for Jashaun Justice, 27, of Burlington, in connection with the stabbing.

It happened early on Nov. 24 during a fight involving a knife at the intersection of Market and Garden streets.

Police in South Burlington now say Justice spoke with investigators on Monday and was taken into custody.

He faces charges of aggravated and simple assault.

The victim had injuries that were not life-threatening.
