CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – A new grant aims to keep an invisible threat out of Granite State schools.
The state bought more than 2,000 carbon monoxide alarms thanks to federal grant funding.
Now, the New Hampshire state fire marshal is planning to visit more than 600 schools after a recent report showed 75% of responding schools didn’t have carbon monoxide alarms.
With the grant money, state employees will install CO detectors and share resources with families.
